Dollar General — Local services in Hampden

I like what the store has to offer and the prices are great. Unfortunately they do not have any handicapped electric scooters for customers with mobility disabilities. There is no law in Maine requiring electric carts in stores and businesses but I feel having at least one available would allow people with mobility disabilities the ability to shop safely in your stores. I gave only 2 stars because I cannot get around to shop without the assistance of an electric store cart so I cannot shop there. Dollar General stores should have at least one battery operated riding cart to help your mobility...

There are good deals, but it did not use all the cupons I had. I had $5 off a $25 purchase, a makeup one for $3 off which I double checked with the clerk to make sure I had the right thing but cupon did not go through. I had $5 off $15 or more of school supply purchases that didnt go through I spent $30 alone on supplies. So that's $13 I was supposed to have off. Great leadership and staff! I am in the store often and always impressed by this team! They all pitch in and it’s very impressive to watch them work so cohesively! In this declining workforce these ladies work their hearts out to deliver the products off the shelf people need.

Each time I go into the store I am greeted warmly and asked if I need help even considering how much work they have to do.
