Greenmount Bowl — Local services in Hampstead

This used to be a great place to go. We can't Saturday and it was absolutely horrible. The staff was not pleasant at all. We had 2 balls get stuck in the gutter and had 2 go up twice to get someone to get the balls. Then it took her almost 10 minutes to send the balls back which prevented us from bowling. Bad enough it took almost a half hr to get in not because of the line but because they were busy with shoes from the previous people. We had heard wonderful things about the remodel and ownership from someone who bowls here regularly but were greatly disappointed and feel the hr and 20 minutes we were able to bowl was NOT worth the $80 I paid. Bought a pitcher of soda we weren't even able to finish because the lady came over to get it while we were putting our shoes on. I know it was close to midnight and the staff was tired but they signed up to work late. They had everyone ushered out by 12:05 and made us feel very unwelcome. I am a customer service manager and if my employees behaved this way there would be consequences for poor...

I have a terrible experience with this place. We were going to celebrate my son's birthday and booked a party room. The booking was paid immediately. The main condition for choosing a place for a party was a separate room, we made a reservation for it. What was my shock when, having arrived at the appointed time, our room was occupied!!! I was in shock and could not understand HOW this is possible ??? They didn't even have any other room for us and just said sit wherever you want! OK! But I booked the room!! Sorry, then what was the point of my booking? I could find another place more suitable for me! The employers shrugged-we can’t do anything, you can sit down at some kind of table🤦‍♀️ The mood was absolutely spoiled .... I sincerely do not understand how this could be done.... It's just some kind of cheating... Never...

My family and I had fun bowling but it's expensive. Also I went to the restroom to nurse my baby and when I sat down on the toilet seat to do so the seat fell right off. My infant and I fell on the floor. I held my baby tight and he was fine but I hurt my shoulder, neck and my leg. I told the lady at the register and she said she would put a sign saying out of order. I received no apology what so ever. They didnt care at all. Its also pretty dark inside the bowling alley and in the restroom. Food is so so and over priced. I got a soft pretzel and half of it was rock hard and couldn't be eaten. We wont be going back. Its the only bowling in carroll county but who cares, I'll happily drive to PA or...
