Today was my first visit to your store. I am very disappointed to say this but I don't believe I will be back to your store after today.
I had initially stopped in for some of the Riftbound TCG product as it released officially October 31st. I was surprised to find out there was a local store who had it in. I came over at open to see about getting some and seeing the shop.
However, product that you have available and behind the counter (clearly visible) that has also released officially seems to be held back for what I can only assume are regulars or preferred customers. When I asked about it, the gentleman behind the counter wouldn't give a direct answer and tried to say it came out next week? (Incorrect when you both look up the official website dates as well as thr LGS locator that shows your location.) I pressed a bit more but he wouldn't respond as to why it wasn't for sale.
Upon later researching, it seems that you are holding an event for the release on November 8th and I assume is the reason the product isn't for sale or not 'available'. However, if this is the case, why didn't the associate just explain that instead of lying about having product (I blatantly asked him if you had product and he just said a flat no.) and not giving direct answers to explain the plans the shop had for the product?
The gentleman behind the counter acted as though I were a bother for inquires on pricing for singles or product information and even upon first entering the store, he was complaining about a co-worker and him having to cover the other's shift for him. I would have bought more had he not seemed like he was having a small fit every time he had to look something up.
Even had the first issue involving product been explained in any proper capacity, the attitude, treatment and experience here was still atrocious and definitely doesn't warrant a repeat visit.
Overall, a shop I had hoped would be an amazing new location to buy from (or play, as both myself and partner want to get into Warhammer.) will unfortunately have to stay off my list of places to shop with.
I hope that associates of this store will be kinder to new faces down the road. I am a local as well, which is unfortunate given the...
Read moreA fantastic shop for tabletop and TCG games. The primary focus is on Warhammer, but there is a modest selection of Pokemon, Lorcana, MTG, and other games, as well as a number of neat board games. They also sell supplies for any miniatures hobbyist, such as paints from several brands, glues, tools, and dice. In addition, they have events and mini tournaments every week. Everything is very well priced, and the staff are top-notch. This shop is a great place if you want to spend several hours in a quiet, cozy, welcoming atmosphere while you either play a round or two with friends, or just chill at a table while you glue and paint your collection. An...
Read moreThis is a store that focuses on tabletop games and card games, but they also have a good variety of board games as well.
The two fellas working when I stopped in were incredibly welcoming and friendly, happily answering all my questions.
Note that there is ample space to bring along your own games and even BYOB in their basement area.
They're still up and coming, only having opened about 2 months ago, so they are still missing some useful curbside signage like an open sign. But they are working on it and I wish...
