I had Chris as a personal trainer for about a year, during which time a LOT happened that kept me from being as reliable with my scheduling as I would have liked. Between lots of work trips out of town, my husband coming home from deployment, a death in the family, changing jobs, and then the big one of finding out I was pregnant a few months into my training plan, to say I had a lot going on during our year working together is an understatement. Throughout all of those things that inevitably led to unpredictable scheduling and more last-minute cancelations on my part than I would like to admit, Chris was amazing! He was incredibly understanding, kind, and flexible, even going to the point of making sure I was getting the right amount of sessions that I paid for, when I was out of town for several weeks, which technically pushed me out of my contract time. He was always professional and patient, and what was extra important was that he tailored everything perfectly once I let him know I was pregnant. I was very confident in his knowledge of human physiology and the plans he came up with for me and pregnancy-friendly alternatives to workouts he had already familiarized me with had me feeling safe, but also not like I was wasting my time. I was still able to get a great workout in, and I partially credit my workouts with him for how healthy I stayed throughout my entire pregnancy.
I appreciated the other things offered by Logic Fitness such as the meal planning & nutrition explanations, as well as the classes, even though I never got to take full advantage due to all the different things I had going on. We are moving this summer, otherwise I would 100% be going back to Chris once cleared postpartum. Read moreI started working with Chris at Logic Fitness about nine months ago. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew I needed someone knowledgeable to give me direction in achieving my goals. And even though I came to Logic in good shape, I never realized how much further I could go. Chris has changed and improved SO many aspects of my fitness He’s changed my running gait, strengthened specific muscle groups in order to improve my lifting form, overhauled my diet to support my new regimen, helped me understand the “why” of what we’re doing, and pushed me out of my comfort zone. And he does it all with his low-key style, patience and humor. I’m not gonna lie, my workouts can be hard, but Chris doesn’t give me anything I can’t handle…even when I’m sometimes not confident in my own abilities. It’s personal training, so Chris meets you where you are, understands your goals and your limitations, and takes it from there. Personal training forces you to do the things you wouldn’t necessarily do on your own, which is why I love it. Chris also offers group classes every week which are free to his personal training clients. I LOVE his Saturday morning HIIT circuit class and try to never miss it. Before joining logic all I knew about fitness was "eat less, lose more eat more, lose less" but since working with Mr. Chris I have learned so much about lifting weights, nutrition, and much more.
