TA Travel Center — Local services in Harborcreek Township

This became a regular stop for my family when we are traveling. It is always clean and has a very friendly and welcoming staff. They have a wide variety of options for food if you are hungry and/or looking for something to take with you. The convenience store and gas station area has anything that you and your family may need for your travels. My absolute favorite part about this particular stop is that they have a local farmer who has a stand out front. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! They are just as friendly as the people inside. Their selection is fantastic and of course we picked up a few things. Having the option of fresh fruits and veggies was great!!! I have to tell you about this.. because it really was an awesome experience. The farmer's son who was helping him at this stand was very nice. I saw something I had never even heard of and was curious about it. He explained what it was and was very informative. It was a yellow plum. Because it was the first time I had learned about the yellow plum he gave me one so that I could try it. WOW!!!! I am not a big plum fan.. but this yellow plum was SOOOOO delicious that I seriously regretted not getting a bunch to take home. I am definitely looking forward to our next road trip to visit family when I will be able to get a bunch of these yellow plums. It really was one of the best fruits I have ever had. I highly recommend that anyone near this place.. even if you're just driving through.. make it one of your stops. Take advantage of the variety of services inside and that incredible farm...

Wow, just Wow!! We got here in the early afternoon and needed a 3 axle alignment ASAP! The shop took us in and we were stunned at the excellent service we got. Jeremy was our mechanic. To be honest a great deal of TA's have rather lazy mechanics but the opposite here! A second mechanic was needed and that wasn't a problem. Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. If TA reads these reviews, y'all need to give this guy a raise and make sure you keep him! He's a rare gem. The parking lot is huge, lots of free parking and there's an actual sit down restaurant. We haul a great deal back west and too many TA's have still not opened their sit down restaurants. A Subway and Pizza Hut is there too for those in a rush. The staff in the store were friendly too. Showers are very clean, good pressure and lots of hot water!! We did get to have breakfast at the restaurant. The waitress reminded me of the old school friendliness we all so miss these days. Yes, the food was awesome! Praise to the cook on that one! We did do some laundry and it was by FAR the best laundry room of all the truck stops. Extremely clean, a place to hang things up, and a folding table. 5-6 machines and dryers! The reserves are close to the store and there are four handicapped parking places for the disabled. Take your 34 here, you won't regret it. I know I'd go from rags to riches! Yes, yes, yes. Saddle up this one's a doozy! My mobile was loaded down with jump suits and tuna, two delightful southern men where chatting on the box, and I was bound for the great state of Oregon. That is, until Uncle Sam called up and said they don't want me being a professional fella until June the 1st. Dang. So I pulled into TA TRAVEL CENTER! They put me at ease. I HOPed for pancake and that hope was answered. I got 3! At IHOP!!! The waitress was nice and gave me cofofo. Small restroom. Not a judgment....just ...a fact. But, then again, this is a truckin man's rest stop, they might want to consider knocking down a few walls to give them boys a bit more room to loosen their belts. I'm headed back to see my Mom! Things don't always go as planned but you know how Mr. Tao is. I look at it this way, I had a headache yesterday and didn't start the trip like I wanted, but if I'd not listened to Da Tao Idda been half way to Omaha when Sammy rang me up! Anyhow, I saw a man walking a skunk on a leash. He eats seafood. The skunk that is, not sure about the man.
