I came to this Subway as it was close to the job site I was on, to order lunch for my roofing crew. I explained to the young lady behind the counter that it would be a large order. All 7 subs were to be the same. I ordered the beast. I told her i was going to the bathroom while she made the subs, as there are no restrooms on site. When I came out ,my subs were not being made. Instead they were lined up on the counter behind the the topping table. Ashton , asst manager, as his name tag read, called out to me, "are you the lady with the 7 subs?" I nodded. He waved me to the register and said , "you realize these subs are 15?" I stared at him. "Yes, I saw the price on the menu when I ordered." He retorted. "Cuzzzz, that'll be $110 and I want to make sure you can afford to pay." Obviously I wasn't happy and I was very offended. I told him I was. I said "BK doesn't ask me if I can afford my lunch before making it." It was very insulting and rude. He offended me greatly, then tried to play nice afterwards. Saying he "had an experience with a previous customer where they ordered the subs and they couldn't pay." An TA employee walled by and said, "wow! You're making 7 subs!" He said, "we have hungry people to feed" I said, "only if they can afford it." He advised me that my statement " was uncalled for." Well buddy, so was your dumb question to me. Do better Subway! Read moreWorst customer service. I had been standing in line since 8:54 PM, behind a woman who appeared to be a customer—but she was actually a Subway employee pretending to be in line. She stood there blocking the queue until exactly 9 PM. Then, she quickly paid and walked into the store. Immediately after, the employee at the counter turned off the lights and told me they were closed.
Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I’ve never seen any place claim their system stops working at 9 PM when there are still customers clearly...
