I have been going to Harding Radiology for decades and the former owner Dr Anne Marrow was fantastic and she is sorely missed. The techs continue to be wonderful BUT the support staff in the front desk are awful, unprofessional bored and rude. They don’t even say hello to you when you check in. But the real issue is that they are not suited for working with medical patients - their uncaring attitudes and incompetence was especially disturbing this week when a “suspicious” finding was found during a recent imaging. I had to see a cancer specialist asap and asked the front desk to please fax the report to this surgeon at 9 am on a Monday - I told her I was going to see the specialist at 3:30 pm and again I reiterated “please fax it before 3 pm.” She speaks so low one can’t hear her - I told her “I’m sorry but I can’t hear you”, she responded by screamed angrily into the phone! She never sent that report and the specialist, could not meet with me until I could get Harding to fax it to her. So I had to make another appointment and now I have to wait a week. When I called Harding again to get the report faxed one of the other Support Staff, a Male, picked up the phone. They both have the same uncaring, boring and rude tone. After I explain what happened he said “why blame me I didn’t take your call.” He also said several times, “are you being sarcastic?” I said no - I said “this really did occur and it’s not professional” and “I’m asking you now to send the report” and his answer was “you’re being unprofessional”!!! My husband heard all of this and called back and asked to speak to the manager or owner and the guy said “ we can’t give out his name and we can’t give out his number. What is this in reference to?” and my husband said this is a private confidential medical issue and I want to speak to the owner. What is his name and what is his phone number?” he refused to give it. Finally he said “I’ll leave a message.” We’ve been waiting for three days and whoever runs Harding radiology now never called and I suspect he never will. I’ve had several doctors and including my general practitioner and a urologist tell me please don’t use Harding Radiology they always mess up the reports! well I’m never going back I’ll never receive an apology and I don’t know if they’ll ever send that report. I got a copy of the report from my general practitioner and now I will have to run it over to Morristown Memorial Hospital. The staff also neglected to send me a letter of the results, which is now a state law that you have to send this information to patients. When I called and mentioned this letter. The girl at the front desk seemed unaware of this, and they claim that they didn’t have to send this letter to me to me. I would strongly advise NOT to use this facility as the owner is not concerned with customer service but only with profits and the service there is atrocious.    Read moreI was given a script for an ultrasound for a swollen lymph node on my right neck on October 16, 2024. I went to Harding because they could perform the procedure same day. I had this swollen lymph node for about 3 weeks so the doctor was concerned. The technician who did the ultrasound seemed to know what she was doing. She did both sides of my neck for comparison. Since it was midday on a Wednesday I figured my doctor would get the results in a day or two. The technician advised me when I was leaving that the doctor would have the results most likely by the end of the week or the following Monday at the latest. When I never heard from the doctor I called her office on Monday October 21, 2024. After a lot of phone gymnastics I finally reached the doctor’s assistant who advised that they just received the ultrasound results that morning (Monday). I was told the doctor would review and get back to me. I waited 2 days and received no call which is on the doctor. Finally on Wednesday October 23 I was able to reach the office staff and her assistant/ nurse told me that the ultrasound was normal. I was told no further testing necessary. I called my GP expressing concern that the ultrasound was normal but my condition remained no better or worse. He agreed and recommended a different ENT. It took another week for the appointment but thank God the doctor was more responsive. When he looked at the ultrasound he advised that he did not trust them because they were subject to human error. He did not like what he felt on my right tonsil. He immediately ordered a cat scan which revealed a diseased lymph node with necrosis. I biopsy was performed next day revealing I have non HPV related oral cancer of my right tonsil. I’m awaiting a CT Pet Scan. Obviously not at Harding Radiology. Two points to consider: Why did it take 5 days to read and report an ultrasound? How trained are the technicians? I did not walk out of there thinking the technician was really good. To add insult to injury the reception area charged me $125 because they said Medicare and all insurance companies don’t believe that this procedure is medically necessary? This is the state of the medical profession today. I could have easily accepted the results of the ultrasound and did nothing. I would have been in a lot of trouble.    Read moreWorst diagnositic center I have ever been to in my life. And I have been going for CTSCANS and MRIs and mammos in many different places. Unfortunately my husband’s insurance provides the service in this facility only so I have no choice to escape this facility. Every time I make an appointment whether it’s for CTSCAN or Mammogram or MRI they cancel and postpone the appointment date and time. They always have an issue with their tech or docs not being available at the time that they’re giving us the appointment for their service. They feel it’s their right to cancel the appointments for the patients because we are dependent on the facility and as patients, we cannot say anything back to them because we need the service. And unfortunately, they will only cancel the appointment 24 hours before the appointment date so we don’t even have the time to make another appointment somewhere else. This is a very frequent practice at this facility and this is how they run the operation. So if you don’t mind waiting and hoping and praying that the appointment sticks then please book your appointment at this facility. This facility absolutely does not care about you as a patient or if you ask them any questions their blanket answer is “this is the way we do it here” .
