Cyclone Lanes — Local services in Harlan

It was so bad, I want to give it a zero. But, it’s impossible, so I’ll give it a one. New to the area, was looking for a fun afternoon with my little family. However, Cyclone Lanes was anything but. Upon entering, you got hit with a cloud of cigarette smoke. Staff was rude to us and other patrons, the facility was unclean and there was exposed wood where the lanes met the area between that and the ball return. The older, female manager told my four year old he wasn’t properly pushing the ball of their one rickety, metal ball ramp. She also went to the birthday party next to us and told them they weren’t bowling properly in a condescending tone. She would yell across the building at paying customers. I had called a month in advance to book a party. When we went in for our party, everything we spoke about and were quoted was changed and completely different. It was not family friendly at all. She kept staring my family down and watching us almost the entire time like we were incapable of keeping an eye on our children. We did not feel welcomed at all. She told the 3 children with us that they could not get their own child sized ball in case other children came, so they had to share (there was a whole rack). Our service was not great with the food. The place is very dirty. The owner was extremely rude. I had high expectations for my son’s party because of how people talk about this place in town, but after this experience I see what has happened to me is common, which is disappointing. This place I not very clean, the wood needs fixed/replaced on the lanes. They get one star because the pizza is good. The majority of the staff are teenagers that ignore you when you're trying to order food and the service is extremely slow. We waiting over an hour for 1 medium single topping pizza. NONE of the staff making your food wears gloves nor do they wash their hands after wiping their nose.
