Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Harlan

Very rundown building, & I'm not quite sure how they are considered a 'Dairy Queen' since they offered very few of the normal Dairy Queen blizzard flavors. It was not very busy (probably because it was so uncomfortably hot having to stand outside to order) so I'm not at all sure why our order for a plain cheeseburger (specifically said, "NO onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard...only meat, cheese, & buns, please") came with everything on it anyway? Of course, we're from out of town & didn't discover it until 20mins away...very...

Took 15 mins to order an i said combos an not once did get asked what to drink with it an then when got order only got half of it. Not happy with service and i thought was gona be great with seeing alota people there all time. Also was upset with fact during ordering the lady kept leavin during mid sentence of placeing our order. And placed salt packs inside bags with the fries so how am i suppose to use a soggy salt...

Updated on 10/6/24: The blizzards and ice cream cone this afternoon were very good. The person handing out the treats at the pick-up window was a little rude. Otherwise, the service was good.

I always "like" DQ, but it wasn't great tonight. DQ is known for their smooth and creamy vanilla ice cream. Tonight, it was more like ice milk than ice cream. Very cold, too cold. That's the reason for the 4 stars...
