Sazon Steakhouse — Local services in Harlan

We were looking for steak after our visit to a little country church while on vacation in Putney, KY. We found this place using Google. Had decent ratings and thought we would give it a try. We were a little confused that it seemed to be a Mexican restaurant. And it wasn't taco Tuesday 🤣 We found steaks in the back portion of the menu and thought we would give it a try. I wasn't expecting much for the price of the t-bone dinner that we ordered. However it was pretty good in flavor, a very thin cut. Which made cooking it to the medium rare that I prefer difficult, but it wasn't to over done for us. Baked potato was huge, but it was a little under cooked in spots. Overall not a bad meal...

I'm giving 3 stars because I came to Harlan to visit family and hadn't had the opportunity to try this place until recently, the food we received was AMAZING! That being said.. everyone at my table got their initial dinner plate.. my food was entirely wrong, not bad just not what i ordered.. two of our appetizers were forgot entirely and by the time they corrected mine I needed a to-go box because everyone in our party was done eating. The restaurant is great, the food was great but the service could be improved. Overall I would probably go back and give...

First off this is WAY more than your standard Mexican resturant. The menu has all the Mexican regulars as well as a full Steak House menu and Italian menu with Pizza and all the best Italian options.

I ordered the Loko Potato because I was looking for something different. Different is what I got and it was amazing.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. I can say this is go to when looking for a place to eat in Harlan. I can't wait to go back to try out...
