Shelby County Speedway — Local services in Harlan

A great slice of Midwestern Americana. I found my visit to be a great value - my ticket was $15, my dad got a senior discount, and my young son was admitted for free. The concessions were priced fairly. The event organizers did a nice job with the flow of the racing and the commentators on the PA system added a lot to the experience. I would highly recommend bringing ear protection, particularly for kids; they do have ear plugs for sale for $1 at the front gate, which is convenient if you forgot...

Went to watch the 305s and 410s for the first night of the big $$ weekend event. Not a big crowd as expected but personally think it had alot to do with local high school football games. Great food and excellent popcorn!!

Absolute joke of a track terrible officials zero track and safety crew three clowns who never worked tow or push trucks in their life if there's a caution plan on it being 15 mins to get 1 car moved takes 45 mins to complete...
