Was invited here. I want to order a drink from the bar location. The person that they had in there was very nice but very unexperienced. Not that I couldn't even get a bloody Mary. The only thing I had was just the mix. Then on top of it when I went to look at a different drink because there wasn't enough ingredients for the bloody Mary I ordered one of their drink specials. I have to say I've been to many different events including summerfest block parties in the city. I have to say by far you are most expensive drinks I've ever seen. Even for an event I've spent the most of $16 for a drink. You want a $25 for a small glass and on top of it the credit card machine would not take my card because it requested a tip. How are you going to charge $25 and think that I'm going to leave a tip. I gave you enough money to buy a bottle for two shots... Where should I tip when I feel like I'm getting ripped off.. so I didn't even get my drink because of your credit card machine. It's just really amazes me the prices that you think you can charge for alcohol in a...
Read moreI don't want to be harsh because this was my first time there, and it was on the thanksgiving holiday.
We ordered the giant pretzel, then later were told that we couldn't have it because the crew from the night prior didn't take them out to thaw out. Then, so many of the soft drinks were out except for a select few. If you're going to charge me $18 for a pizza, it shouldn't resemble the likes of Little Caesars. The chicken tenders were not good.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound petty... the movie we saw was good. The hot dog and the popcorn were good. So, at the least, we know to just stick with those.
However, if you're going to decide to go out to the movies and enjoy the full experience, the movie, the snacks, food, drinks and etc... you should be able to expect just that. If not, why go out to the movies when you can stay home with your own snacks and big screen.
So, it wasn't horrible, but it's wasn't...
Read moreI’ve always loved going to the movies, but traditional theater seats made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. Sitting for two hours or more in those stiff, upright chairs left me with neck and back pain by the time the credits rolled. I found myself constantly shifting in my seat, trying to get comfortable, but nothing really helped. By the end of the movie, I was more focused on my discomfort than what was happening on screen.
That’s why I believe our local theater should invest in recliner seats. With proper lumbar support and the ability to adjust my position, I wouldn’t have to worry about neck strain or lower back pain. Instead of leaving the theater feeling stiff and sore, I could actually relax and enjoy the movie the way it’s meant to be experienced. Upgrading to recliners would not only make the theater more comfortable but also attract more people who, like me, want a better, pain-free...
