As a first-timer to the Warren County Fair and Balloon Festival, I was completely enchanted by the kaleidoscope of experiences it offered. The fair is not just a display of the county's rich heritage but also a vibrant celebration of its contemporary culture.
The rustic charm of the fairgrounds mingled effortlessly with the buzz of excitement in the air. Stalls showcased everything from handcrafted goods to delicious local delicacies. The merry-go-rounds, games, and other attractions brought out the child in every visitor, including me.
However, the crowning jewel of my experience was undoubtedly the Balloon Festival. Watching the sky speckled with a myriad of colorful balloons during the day, followed by the mesmerizing glow at night, was nothing short of magical. The sight of these gentle giants taking off and the thrill of the tethered balloon rides left an indelible impression on me.

Who's going for tropical drinks at a stand that's blaring pop music at a farmer's fair in rural New Jersey? Check out the local "permanent" food stands instead. Like the various Grange stands and Lion's Club and whatnot. They provide quality food at reasonable prices, and help support the community. Went to the Stewartsville Grange stand with my wife and we spent $14 for two drinks, two good hot dogs (one cheese, one chili), a specialty burger, and perogies. When was the last time you spent that little for that much food...
