Love this place! Great customer service, and the most delicious food! I've had alot of different things here, and it's all been soooooooo yummy! Reasonable prices, too! Their food is seriously so good! At first glance you may not think this little store has much to offer, but trust me, you will be absolutely impressed at the quality of food this place has! If you have always driven by and never stopped, I implore you to stop! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! I wish I had decided to stop sooner! They have it all, including: fresh veg, all kinds of meats, cheese, milk, jam/jellys, baked goods including pillowy soft bread and divine sweets, sandwiches, take home heat-n-eat items, and take home deli items like chicken salad (my absolute fave I've ever had, and I'm super picky with chicken salad!) I don't live anywhere near this store, but I wish I did, cause I drive way out of my way to come here, lol. THAT'S how amazing this...

This is my favorite specialty food store! Yes, there are vegetables, but so much more exotic variety than a big market grocery store. In season you’ll find fiddlehead ferns, seaweed with sesame oil, locally dried sun dried tomatoes, etc. You never know what you’ll find for short periods during various seasons. Next are the meats. An accomplished butcher oversees beef, chicken, pork, fish offerings, and there’s also house made chicken or beef broth from time to time or smoked salmon to go with that seaweed, lemons, cukes, & sour cream you can also buy there. Beans, coffee, sweets, lunch offerings on a steam table. If you’ve never been in this tiny store you can’t imagine the breadth of wonders inside. We stopped at Dolphin Marina on our return trip south for a few days (Excellent Marina!) and used their courtesy truck to head into Brunswick to reprovision. Came across The Vegetable Corner on our way and decided to stop and check them out. Wow! Am I ever glad we did!

These folks have a great selection of everything and very reasonable prices. We purchased great fresh produce including some excellent corn for our lobster dinner aboard. But what was really great was the Italian hot sausages, breakfast sausage links and bacon - all freshly made!

Bottom line, of you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop in.

BTW, the only negative is that they can’t accept credit cards - cash & personal...
