Not the biggest, just the best. The Commissary at Selfridge is always CLEAN and well-stocked with an excellent selection of brand name products at equally excellent prices. The meat, produce and deli departments are very competitive with off-base supermarkets and in my opinion, the quality is as good as the high-cost "boutique" markets at a much lower price.
The staff is simply awesome. Everyone is always busy stocking or cleaning, but never too busy to help you or give you a big smile and render the greeting of the day. Very refreshing.
The online shopping with curbside pickup works well and is very convenient if you prefer that option. Special orders? They've got your back on those, too. The staff can help you place the order and keeps you updated with status and product arrival.
Love this place. Thank you, Commissary Employees, for making the task of shopping...

Because of my severe lung disease it took me 2 1/2 hours and due to my shortness of breath I had to sit down 3x to catch my breath. I waited in line for about 10 minutes. I tried to explain that I couldn't wear one due to my medical condition. She stated in front of everybody that if I didn't have one she wouldn't cash me out because I was putting her life in danger. I took my purse and walked out crying, all the way home. I felt very embarrassed, and like I didn't deserve to shop there because I have a severe medical condition. I was the one taking a chance with my life, if I get covid, I will probably...

Deli is only open until four o'clock but you can call in an order and pick it up.
Another watch out is BIUB dates. In my experience I have found yogurt, Lender's Bagels (in the cold section) and eggs that we're out of date or about to go out of date.
I'm not sure how great a value shopping at the commissary is. You're charged a surcharge at checkout and then the baggers work on tips. I've resolved that I don't shop there for the prices. I shop there because it's...
