I have visited this West Marine for several years. They are really deserving of more than 4 stars but are not quite at a level of perfection or 5 stars. I love that West Marine as a whole has such a wide variety of boating items in their stores and this store is the best. The only downside is that their prices are on the high side. I guess that is the price to be paid for the convenience of having a brick and mortar business where I can pick up boating items immediately versus having to order online where I’ll have to wait a few days. Read moreLive down the road from this store. West Marine has a rep for being overpriced but it is not terrible considering the cost of convenience and compared to most Marine shops. Their service is pretty poor though. Most associates are helpful only when you go up to them and ask specifically for help. Many of them lack common manners such as saying how may I help you, thank you, or have a nice day. It's advisable in today's climate to hire and empower manners and respect in a service industry. Box stores are dying and with Amazon Prime and Overtons, west will find themselves...
