Harrison Michigan family fare has the rudest employees. Since I am a rewards member with the YES CARD PROGRAM and tied my email to my account I was sent a FROZEN PIZZA FOOD RECALL FROM FAMILY FARE THAT STATED THAT A FROZEN CHICKEN BACON RANCH PIZZA THAT I HAD PURCHASED NEEDED TO BE RETURNED IMMEDIATELY TO THE HARRISON FAMILY FARE FOR A 100% REFUND. THE FDA AND FAMILY FARE HAD RECALLED THE BRAND OF PIZZA BECAUSE IT CONTAINED PLASTIC AND/OR METAL SHAVINGS AND FRAGMENTS AND THEY ALSO HAD MY PURCHASE DATE INFORMATION. WHEN I TOOK THE PIZZA AND A COPY OF THE EMAIL AND MY PHYSICAL RECEIPT, I WAS INFORMED BY MANAGEMENT THAT I WAS NOT GETTING A REFUND NOR COULD I EXCHANGE IT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT DIRECTLY SEND ME THE EMAIL AND THEY DO NOT HONOR RECALLS FIR THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL NOR FROM THE FDA AND THEY SAID THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT CORPORATE OFFICE SENDS IF IT'S NOT DIRECT FROM THEIR STORE, THEY WILL NOT AND DO NOT FOLLOW PROTOCOL FOR FOOD RECALL ITEMS. BEWARE PATRONS IF THE FDA AND THE FAMILY FARE CORPORATE OFFICE HAS THE COURTESY AND CONCERN TO SEND OUT RECALL INFORMATION FOR FOOD WE PURCHASED AT THEIR STORES. ... Read moreWent in there to get a few things and was in line for 20 minutes. 1 lane open and 4 people in line in front of me. My ice cream for real soft and with this virus going on it seems like they would have got you through the lines faster. The customer service line had 3 people in line and still there when I left, and the self checkout had 1 each and went fast. With a line open and 6-8 employees standing there laughing , messing around , looking at us no other lanes were opened. I live 6 miles from the Harrison store but will start going to Houghton lake where the service is much better but really don't think a person should be pushed out of there hometown for it! There is one cashier that we seem to get that when she is waiting on you she will just leave to go to self checkout or go to customer service desk and then wonders back to the register. Read moreWent and ordered a cake for my daughter's 11th Birthday. Today I went to pick it up and well I wasn't happy. It was suppose to say Happy 11th Birthday and instead they wrote Happy 10th Birthday. Jen in the Bakery apologized and tried to fix it the best that she could. She had to use a different color icing to write it so it didn't match. My daughter was fine with that. So we went to the party location took the cake out of the box and found more wrong with it. My daughter asked for roses with leaves all around the cake and that wasn't done just at the top. The leaves were red. Then the frosting was so thin on the sides of the cake you could see the cake through it. After the party I went up to family fare and spoke with Sherri the manager and she was very upset too with the look of the cake. She refunded me the price of the cake and apologized for the mistakes.
