Harps Food Stores — Local services in Harrison

Tonight I caught Harps Foods Store in Bellefonte Arkansas mis-marking the price of items. Normally, this would be no big deal, however this was the 3rd time I've caught them since appx June 2018. The 1st was when I thought their (confusing) sign indicated Beets were $3.99 per pound. I was sorely mistaken and found them to be charging $3.99 PER BEET, regardless of size or condition. I let them keep the beets. The 2nd time, they had bags (Totes) of apples marked by yet another sign, however they charged me the full price for the most expensive apples, PER apple. (this was not a mistake IMO. There were different kinds of apples in the bags... the bags were together on a table separated from the racks of individual apples, and the table had a sign clearly marking the "fake" price). Finally, this evening I was charged $0.35 OVER what yet another display sign indicated. While this is an insignificant amount, if nobody catches this kind of mis-marking... when it's all said and done, Harp's has bilked it's customers out of a healthy amount by being dishonest. I'm not trying to convince anyone not to shop at Harps... but DO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! I'm guessing Harp's is counting on you...

Store is clean & has most basic things desired in a store, with that being said I will not make this my "store of choice". I have been to this store a handful of times and every time I have been treated poorly. The staff is not helpful at all and are quite rude. On one particular visit I was checking out my cart full of groceries, with my 3 year old. The young gentleman barely grunted at me, sat my groceries on turn table and did not put them in the sacks for me. I don't need over the top service but simple courtesy...

Despite all the tasty people food available at a fair price, I couldn't find harp food anywhere in the store. My sweet daughter's harp died of starvation this morning and her dreams of playing her harp in a heavy metal polka band died with it. Now she is inconsolable and threatening me with the jumper cables. Hopefully her hungry little harp is happily playing a smaller harp on a cloud in harp heaven now. At least I was able to get some reasonably priced gas while I was...
