Well, sure wish I would have read the reviews of this company first. I talked with Austin several times over two trucks I was interested in purchasing. Because I was over 14+ hours away, I tried to put a deposit to hold them, but Austin said he would not do that, he told me they had a terrible experience in the past with that. I spent that day getting the finance in place for the two trucks, when I called and told Austin I was flying out the next morning to get the trucks he said one of them sold. I flew to Sioux Falls, SD had to get an Uber to get to Harford 20 minutes away, since Austin did not offer to pick me up or anything to help. When I showed up to the shop, Austin said the truck is over there, walked with me to it and then said look at it, drive it if you want and then walked back into the shop, WOW I thought, that's great customer service. I walked around the truck looking and thought the whole time this was not what I had been looking at online. While I was looking the truck over I found a big bundle of wires hanging down from the frame which was the main wiring harness 6" from ground, ABS wire cut on right side front, and posting a warning on the computer on the dash. I went in and told Austin what I found and asked how did that all pass the DOT inspection you did? He stated "oh we don't do those; we look the trucks over but don't do DOT's" that would cost us too much. He stated that the wires he would tie up, but the ABS issue he would not. I said I do not need to be stopped at the port and put out of service trying to get the truck home, he said they will not do that with a just purchased truck, I'd be fine to get it home and fix it. After driving the truck 5-6 miles I parked the truck back on the side of the shop, and walked through the rest of their trucks, trying to find one different since I came so far to get a truck. I found so many things that were not right with many of the other trucks I looked at. I went to let Austin know I was going to have to think about the yellow truck, but he was nowhere to be found. I sent him a text and never received a reply, after looking around for him for 5-10 minutes I left and walked down the road and sat on some grass to think. Austin, never ever replied to me with anything, not even a question. He knew I was not going to be buffaloed or lied to. I was not going to buy the truck I just spent time and money coming to get. VERY Unprofessional!! I would beware of doing business here, make sure you check everything before just buying and driving away. From other reviews and my experience, PLEASE BEWARE AND...
Read moreWOULD NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased a truck without going to look at it due to it was a 2017 with only 580k miles and all shined up. Austin told me it was in great shape and no issues… I asked for mudflaps to be installed and a tank of fuel when I get there, neither of which got done.. I drove the truck home. Took to a shop to do a service and a couple other add ons. There they found no oil in the transmission and major oil leak on back part of the engine. Two very pricey repairs. Contacted American Truck Store for some help covering the repairs and received a pathetic check in the mail that didn’t even cover a fraction of the bill. SO...
Read moreI agree with James. Stay away! They do a cheap paint job then polish it up to sell it. Hardly anything thing on the truck works. To many things to list. Lots of rust. Rust in places I have never seen before. I bought the truck unseen. Will never ever do that again. Once they got the Money In there account they would hardly talk to me. My truck is supposed to have a overhaul too, I do have paperwork to support that but I question the validity because I do not believe anything they...
