Images Day Spa — Local services in Hartford

I have Images to thank for ruining my wedding day look. Their website is VERY misleading when it comes to their bridal services. I was in no way pampered or treated like a bride at all. I’m disgusted with my experience & the way I was treated. My pictures are probably “worth a thousand words” but they aren’t good words. Also the portion on their make up, their “make up person” is not a professional at it & there is not a Merle Norman product in sight. To start, my stylist, Madi was bothered by me canceling my make up from being done at their salon & changing it to a much better make up artist. I had a trial run for hair & make up prior to my wedding & it was not good so understandably I switched. The cancellation literally didn’t even affect her. I messaged her the night before my wedding just to make sure everything was still on track. She didn’t answer but called me on the morning of my wedding with an unfriendly tone & told me that if I wanted her to do my hair(like I had a choice it was already the day of!) I had to come in at 1 because that’s when my appointment was... even though my appointment was at 1 o’clock for my make up to start, not my hair. I scheduled my new MUA for 1 o’clock, so basically the only difference was the person doing it. After I told her that my original appointment at 1 was to start make up she moved away from the phone & said “was her appointment for make up at 12 or 1?” & of course the answer was 1. So she agreed to let me come at 2, but said since I’m coming at 2 she can’t do my flower girl’s hair. So this added 10x more stress to my already stressful day. Had to find another random salon to do my flower girl’s hair.... which I should probably be thankful for because I left Images with a rats nest on my head! Madi also did my hair in complete silence. Never spoke to me once aside from anything that was required to be said. A total change in personality from my trial day & not how I should be treated as a bride on my wedding day! My hair looked nothing like the photos I showed of the updo I wanted. I was clearly unhappy & minimal effort was put into trying to fix it. When I asked her to take it down & try something simpler she said no because she’s already been pinning for an hour. I’m still so sad about it because I can never get my wedding day back & my hair is something that will affect everything. It’s in every picture & it’s so bad. The bottom line is that this girl was just bad at doing my hair period, & she was very unprofessional with her attitude. I wish I had never called Images to schedule my bridal hair.

I made an appointment that apparently got lost in the booking. I waited over an hour before anyone even bothered to tell me they didn't have me down for an appointment. Then the owner pulled the appointment book to show me there was no appointment. She pulled the old book that had been recouped and my name was there but had been erased. My mother and I went for Pedicure's at Images. We had never been there, so we did not really know what to expect, but we should have known, it was absolutely amazing!! The girls that took care of us were so nice, sweet, and professional. The lady that did my mom was AWESOME, as we had told her my mom is a diabetic. She was great!
