Was driving through the area and was craving a milkshake and saw your establishment was a few miles off course so I stopped in and the guy working behind the counter was obviously less than thrilled that he had customers as he mumbled what can I do for you guys, and I simply said I want a shake to which he made a production of peering into the ice cream chest and stuck his head in there at an empty bin of ice cream as if to suggest I must be blind and said "we're out" and then my partner who stood next to me in just as much shock said "so are we" and we left. Horrible customer service. Was obviously more worried about his eyebrows than taking care of a customer. Will not return if ever in the area. I can get treated like I don't exist plenty of...

Great little gift shop. I was only in town for a few days when I discovered the food available here. I used to drive a truck over the road, and have had food from many places paricularly in the eastern half of the country. One of my favorite foods is Chicken salad, and despite making a killer chicken salad myself, and having chicken salad in numerous places throughout the country, the chicken salad sandwich here is arguably the best I have ever had. I will be back for every lunch I can every time I come back for a Hartford trip.
