Tate's Mini Mall — Local services in Hartford

I really wanted to like this place… The first time I went I found a few good deals. But yesterday was the second time I purchased something, and got home and it was broken. The first time they made it right by offering me a partial refund… This time we’ll see how they handle it. All in all I really think they should vet their inventory a little better than this. I brought my younger siblings to Tate’s today because they are visiting from out of state and I think it’s a pretty unique place. I love the little antiques section and it’s all around a pretty good store but they are SEVERELY lacking in customer service. Every time my husband or I come here the cashiers are horrible. Today they were both on their phones and you feel like you are interrupting them whenever you need to check out. They don’t smile at you or greet you when you come in. This way my first visit to Tate's Mini Mall and I will be returning there, and bringing more friends with me! It's amazing!!! Never was able to see everything they sell (the place is HUGH! And we were limited on time), but did find a few items, at reasonable prices, that I intend on purchasing - some items for the granddaughters, some for the dogs, and some for me.
