This was my first trip to this farm. While overall the experience was good (food at the lunch spot delicious, peach enchiladas delicious, very kind man Dan in the museum) we encountered several rude employees. One lady taking orders on an iPad was rude when we asked if we could get in line with the group of senior citizens we brought and had already been in line with previously. Two of us stepped away to put down some purchases at a table so the 10 seniors with us could eat/sit and not have to carry their purchases while standing in line. Her response was just rude. There is a nice way to tell someone not to “skip the line”. Although our entire party of 10 had been in line. We were just trying to get back with them as you may do if a spouse was waiting in line for their partner. Her tone and expression were simply rude. We went a few miles down the road to the warehouse. The guy checking us out was also rude. He seemed annoyed by us being there. Seemed frustrated with employees and customers. We were innocently trying to buy peaches. If that gets on your nerves, then close that area to the public. I enjoyed this visit overall, but if I return I would not take senior citizens because some of the middle aged (seemed to be higher up) staff had zero patience...
Read moreVisited late last month (9/21) and purchased $60 worth of peaches. Let them ripen up for 3-4 days before starting to can them, and realized the majority of them were black all the way through. Even sitting on the counter not touching each other, some were even molding. Family insisted I call after about a week of me complaining to them about it so I called and spoke with one of the managers who said she would refund me. This was on 10/02. As of today 10/13 there is still no refund. I called back today for an update, and the lady there questioned me as if I just left them to rot on my counter for weeks. The first person I spoke to let me know that they do keep the peaches in the cooler. perhaps the cooler is a bit too cold because they were black inside as if they were frozen. None were juicy. They seemed as if they had been picked far too early. I normally get peaches from here every year but after this experience I am not sure if I’ll return. I’ll probably shop local...
Read moreWe traveled from TN to SC to see family. They took us here and my goodness if you don't go you're missing out totally worth the drive. Everyone we came in contact with was super great and friendly. My kids loved going through seeing the firetrucks and all the tractors/antique cars they have on display. The kicker was the food they served in the little shop! I momentarily died and went to heaven 😂 they had homemade desserts and ice cream. We all tried different things. You can't go wrong with anything from here!!! The peach enchiladas are phenomenal, as well as the apple crisp and strawberry 🍓 cobbler 🥰🥰 My youngest got the peach ice cream. I have never tasted something to fresh and flavorful. It even had fresh peach chunks! We will definitely go back when we visit again. They had so much to offer! If you're near here don't miss out stop and enjoy!!
Maybe the meat market will be open when we...
