We usually love stopping at the stand on our way back from my mom's house. Today we were coming in for strawberries. I asked if they were non GMO and the very nice girl working had no idea. We walked around picked treats for the kids( the cream is good.) Asked if we could taste a strawberry bc we were going to buy 4-5 of the giant baskets (the $18 ones) I was told no. I explained that we had very bad experiences with other farms this year and I wanted to make sure the berries were good before I spent that much. I again was told no. I asked why and was told bc of COVID and bc they may have been sprayed with something? I am highly disappointed 😞. Read moreThis roadside market is located on US 1 about 1mile north ob McBee, South Carolina. It is directly across the road from a very large peach tree farm. Parking is adequate with dog walks on either side of the building. The ladies that work there are friendly and helpful. On the day we were there they had fresh peaches, beautiful strawberries, and blueberries available. There are also lical made jams and jellies that are very good. The lady told us a little history of the farm. I love places like this. I noticed they sell sodas for only a buck! Very reasonable prices on everything. They even have a restroom if you need it....
