McCurdy Track — Local services in Harvard

The track and grounds are maintained and very popular. There is a large gravel parking area adequate for dozens of cars. There are several miles of paths through the woods, which are shaded year round. They connect to large conservation areas and are excellent for running, walking, and cross-country skiing in the winter.

The playground was locked closed until mid-2021 reflecting Harvard's COVID restrictions. It is open now but there are some slightly hazardous conditions due to wearing away of the ground-covering wood chips. The town was made aware of this issue in February but it should be reported regularly so the playground is recognized as an equally heavily used facility and higher priority is assigned to...

Actually a great place. Has a play ground. Nice track and field. Lots of people come out to walk and or run around the track.
