Harps Food Stores — Local services in Haskell

This was my first time in a Harps grocery store. The meat looked good and very reasonably priced for this day and age. Beat Wal-Mart on price and quality. There sale items put the prices to great. And I saved the best for last. Service our checker went above and beyond helping us with downloading and signing up so we could get digital coupons which are special sale items beyond what is in the paper. We're a couple of old fuddy duddys who are electronically challenged. Overall I'd rate this store on hwy 67 to be fantastic.

Update we've been shopping here about 5 times now. Great service and good sale prices. We can get in and out fairly quickly which I love ❤️ as it is usually my last stop on the way home. The meat department has very good quality meat, and prices are competitive. Deli and bakery are limited as they are small departments, again the service can not be beat. Harps is the closest grocery store to my house and is great if you need to pick up a couple of things. I don't think I have ever used it for a full-fledged shopping trip. The reason for this is that there are at least two other grocery places just slightly farther from my house that have a better selection and better prices. My full grocery run would probably be $20-25 more her than at most other places. They usually have a pretty good meat selection and a pretty poor, fresh vegetable section at the store closest to me. I will say that most other Harps I have been in have a better produce section than the store above. Nice people and...

I'm torn by Harp's two faced character. On one side, Harp's is a very good grocery store. Lots of great products to choose from. Decent prices. Some employees are nice. On the other hand, as friendly as some of the employees are. There are just as many who are not😭 I'm a 49yr old woman who was carded by a barely legal cashier. To add insult to injury, she berated me with insults due to my surviving cancer. Because of my lack of hair. Easy for some young female to say to me, an older female who'd gone through chemo treatments. Then to card me at my age. Added to this critics decision to give Harp's in Haskell a...
