RaceTrac — Local services in Hattiesburg

Great convenient store! Has hot food ready to eat (pizza is so good). I love all the amenities that are offered. They have all your normal has station snacks, drinks, has, cigs, meds/ personal items, auto care items, restrooms,etc. The best thing about this store is all the self serve Hot food, frozen yogurt wall, coffee wall, fountain drinks, slushie machine, lottery kiosk, ATM, very friendly attendants (not many but I'm sure that's not their fault its hard to find good employees that want to work these days), so they do have a couple self check out registers, plus a small little novelty/gift store section. I'm sure I left something out lol. Really is a quick one stop type shop when you need things when your on the go and busy. I hope they keep it in good shape, clean, and continue to offer all services they offer now in the future. Has the potential to do very well. Its in a great location and has the potential to grow and thrive. Honestly if they keep the store clean ,pay their employees a good livable wage, and continue to focus on all the services that they offer now I think that they have the potential to expand and grow and serve that area very well. Ask customers remember that gas stations don't really make money on gas cigarettes and alcohol so support them by buying other things so they can be profitable and maybe even create more jobs for the area and be good for the local economy. For 50 years I’ve been traveling Hwy 49 from jackson MS to Gulfport’s MS and Stuckeys has been my stop in Harristburg. But now they opened this real nice Racetrack just north of Hattiesburg and it’s become my new go to store. EXCEPT I’ve gotten the it app and have tried using their coupons and 3 times for 3 times the coupons don’t work. All 3 times I’ve been give some excuse of why they don’t apply! Yet none of the coupons say anything about the restrictions. Last week there is a coupon on the door talking about $1 pizza slice with Coke product. I even took a pic of the advertisement on the door and read the fine print! Yet they had and excuse why it didn’t work. Today the app had a coupon for some free stuffed nachos and the coupon says nothing about only during certain hrs. But they tell me it is only good for certain hrs. I understand this is petty, but 3 for 3 is kind of irritating! Don’t offer the coupons if you aren’t going to put the restrictions on it. Not to mention it becomes a fiasco trying to get help with the coupon and now my 10 minute gas stop has turned into a 20 minute disappointment! I think I’m going back to Stuckeys if yall can get you stuff together. Your food and treats are why I stopped here, but if the are going to have false advertising and costing me travel time it just isn’t worth it. First visit here.. place is new, clean. Several, if not most or all, concessions inside appear to be not yet in service. All the coffee machines were down. No food was being served.
