Holiday Foods — Local services in Haubstadt

Very expensive and thrives off those that do not or aren't able to get to a Walmart that is 20 minutes away. More expensive that Schnucks. Cashiers don't have much personality and haven't been greeted any time that I have been in there. Most people of the small community there drive their golf carts there which is a Haubstat thing to do. It is a ghost town grocery and I only ever see people only when I am checking out. It is more expensive than a typical gas station. If you are able bodied to go somewhere else I recommend the drive to the Princeton Walmart if you are getting an amount of groceries. This place is more about convenience items rather than regular shopping. And, watch out for the 4 wheelers and the golf carts...

Seems to be a good little store when you need to pick up something fast. However, I have noticed that most of the bread products and Hostess products do not have expiration or sell by dates. I thought that detail was a requirement by law. Walmart & even Dollar General show easy to read expiration dates. You don't know if what you are buying is already expired or getting ready to expire in a few days. Thought I just couldn't see the date anywhere but the cashier couldn't find it either. Took a chance & bought the Hostess product anyway since kids really wanted them. When we got home & opened the box, all the items inside looked old & had white spots on them. So, if you can't find an easy to read expiration date, buy your item...

I was in a few weeks ago and needed assistance getting my dog food and few groceries out to my smart car. Hunter wade rushed to my aid. He was the sweetest, kindest, passionate, and beautiful person I have ever seen. He was very helpful, he gave me directions to get to Nashville the fastest way. On the other hand Shay Williams was rude, nasty and hateful to me. She told me I’m not hurt and can do it myself. I had to track a worker down. I lucky found hunter and he rushed to help me get it out. When I was leaving I saw the Shay girl out in a car doing it. I was mad bc she was out in the car doing the dirty instead of helping the people. She should be fired for the disrespect of customers. Hunter wade should be the assistant...
