Update: yet another issue and will likely be my last order. Previously I was given the option to have an afternoon delivery, this is no longer the case. Their system schedules you so they have no ability to adjust the times you get your delivery.
I’ve been a patient here for years. Up until recreational, service was good and you could always get through on the phone. Now that recreational has opened up, deliveries are processed same day, service at the location takes way longer, and overall the sales haven’t been as good….although they seem to be getting better again. My biggest complaint that has happened over time is there are occasional errors at the register. Most recently, I placed an online order and was charged for something I didn’t order or even receive. Had I received the item I wouldn’t have complained. I called in a few days ago to alert the employees of the issue. My first call was a day after the two week refund period- I wasn’t asking for a refund, just an account credit for next time. The first girl put me on hold for 30 mins with no reason why- she just put me on hold and nobody came back for a half hour so I hung up. I called again later in the day and spoke with the receptionist. She advised that I should come in- I told her I live in the next county over and wouldn’t be up that way any time soon so I’d like to resolve it on the phone. She pulled up my account and took my info- plus the item that was wrong. She said she would pass it on to a manager and I’d receive a call back. It’s been almost a week and still no call back. If you can’t treat your medical patients right, maybe you need to hire more employees or cut back on recreational sales hours. I will give them a chance to correct the issue on my next order but if it does not get resolved I will take my business elsewhere- there are about 20 dispensaries that are closer to my home. Read moreI am a recreational user not medical so take that into account for this review. I think this place has consistently better deals and prices overall than Pharmkent in Elkton. I've never had an issue with an order in the nearly one year since I've gone here but the process of getting your order is still too tedious. It's also painfully clear that these guys want to milk every dime they possibly can from you while you're there.
You order online and wait to be notified when you can come pickup. When arriving however, you then have to check in and wait again. You would think having the option to order online would streamline some wait times but it's really just reserving your product and adding a step to the transaction. You cannot pay via the app when using a card. They also recently and without warning stopped allowing credit cards to be used by recreational customers.
When it is finally your turn they direct you to a cashier who doesn't have your order but instead needs to verify your id, which is effectively a 3rd time checking in. They will then go get your order and potentially try to upsell you. I get that tips help these guys but some people order online because we know what we want. Having the option to order online only to then have to show up in person and wait again, regardless of when you placed your order is frustrating. You are called back based on arrival time in person so again the app is only to reserve stuff.
Cool to have it legal now but the fees for using a card and all of the weird steps you need to take show that we have a long way to go in optimizing the customers experience. Read moreI come here often and spend a lot of money weekly at this dispensary and I've never complained or asked to exchange anything even bags that were short full grams. I bought a cart for a family trip I was taking so I didn't have to take flower. I bought a $60 live rosin cart and I literally have to drag on it for +30 seconds to even get the smallest puff of a hit. I literally get a oxygen deprivation high more than anything off the cart and with bad lungs I don't want to pull on it so hard to get nothing especially.So I went without my meds for the weekend and I came back in on my way after talking to someone on the phone and then saying they would take care of if. I signed in and was greeted by a male supervisor and instantly was doubting everything I said and he looked at the price of the cart and said "oh $60" and then asked me to step outside and hit it in front of him. The first time I dragged on it for about 10 seconds and literally no smoke came out at all and he asked me to hit it again but longer. So I hit it and dragged on it for about 30 seconds and I started coughing from my low lung capacity but because " smoke does come out" I was told I would not be able to get an exchange because once he saw it was a $60 cart he was looking for any reason to not have to replace it.
