I don't often write reviews but I think it is important to share my experience with others who may be considering Beach Glass Weddings. I contacted them two weeks prior to my mid-week elopement to see if they might be available to shoot my elopement. I chose the 3-5 minute video package and paid extra for a drone specifically because I did not want a long drawn out video that no one would ever watch. Angi was very flexible and provided options for locations as well. We decided last minute to go with one of her locations and she said she would help us with the permit to do it. She did not disclose that she would be charging us a fee. perhaps an oversight and it was only $25 so I did not make a stink about it. The day of the wedding, Angi calls me an hour prior to our agreed upon meeting time and asks why I am not there. I had texts and emails with her that proved the ceremony was at 5pm and we changed our location to this location because she was worried about the gates closing at our other location at 6pm before we could exit the park. She was professional and kind but a little frustrated with us. our elopement went smoothly nevertheless. at the end of videotaping, Angi asks if she can charge us more because we were late. I explained to her that she was the one who got the wrong time, but ultimately my husband agreed so as not to ruin our wedding day. A few weeks later, we receive our video on time and as promised, but it is not what we paid for or what Angi and I had talked about. It is 14 minutes long of nauseating, boring ceremony, which is exactly what I did not want. I think this company and team is talented and capable, but I think communication could definitely be improved. I recommend anyone wanting to work with this team ensure you put things in writing and avoid making plans or changes last minute. As for why the video was not what I purchased, I am still at a...
Read moreI cannot say enough about Beach Glass Weddings! Angie (the owner) put everything together in as little as 2 weeks for us! We booked the helicopter/waterfall package. We talked with Angie and the minister (Richard) via zoom (on different days) before the big day. They were compassionate and attentive to our requests and needs. Richard brought all props for the ceremony and played a ukulele, as well as sang. I added things along the way and it was done. My hair and make-up was fantastic! (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name). I was worried how my hair would come out as I have big curly hair. She had no issues! She came to my room, and was kind professional and curteous. My flowers ordered were beautiful and what i expected. Blue Hawaiian Helicopter company flew us to a private waterfall. The driver (i cannot think of his name either, i know he had flown in alaska too) was amazing! He flew with confidence and ease, he was very knowledgeable about the area. Took his time to the waterfall and back. He helped the minister and photographer with whatever they needed and prepared our toast as well! The photographer (gosh I'm terrible with names) was amazing as well! She had never been on the helicopter wedding so she enjoyed this for the first time as well. Her images she captured were crisp, colorful and just what I needed to remember our special day. I also want to add we did not feel rushed during the helicopter ride or during the time at the waterfall. My pictures and marriage certificate were received faster than expected. I cannot say enough about everyone involved and how worth every penny that was spent. Thank you so much...
Read moreWe would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to your organization for the invaluable assistance in orchestrating our wedding. Having relocated from Ukraine to the United States amidst ongoing conflict, we had hoped to marry sooner. However, with our loved ones scattered across the globe, we opted for Hawaii—a serene sanctuary—to exchange vows, seeking solace amidst adversity and embracing the reality of celebrating without our dear ones.
Your team's involvement bestowed upon us unforgettable moments, as they wholeheartedly immersed themselves in our joyous occasion. Richard officiated the ceremony with heartfelt emotion, his presence a comforting constant throughout. The ethereal ambiance was further heightened by his serenade on the ukulele, accompanied by the harmonious symphony of nature—a truly unexpected and cherished gift.
Moreover, the photographer seamlessly bridged any language barriers, connecting with us on a spiritual level, despite our limited English proficiency. While we await the remaining wedding photos, the few we've received have already been lovingly printed and treasured. It's evident that your team not only exhibits exceptional professionalism but also possesses a profound compassion that touches the heart.
While a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, we wholeheartedly recommend your organization to other couples, wishing them the same joy and fulfillment we experienced on our...
