04/30/2025 (Wed) We stopped by this market after the beach to pick up some food for the next morning’s breakfast and snacks for our beach day. It was just after 1 PM, and most of the lunch items like bento boxes at the hot food counter were already sold out. We walked around to see if there might be something available in another section, but by the time we returned, even the few remaining hot food items had already been cleared away.

So instead, we picked up some fruit, sweet red bean buns, butter mochi, ice cream, and a bottle of wine. The cashier was very pleasant and polite, and we had a nice shopping experience despite the limited food...

I used one specific credit card my whole trip only at this place. Next day tons of fraud charges. It didn’t end on that day either- attempts were made after as well with the replacement. Apparently if you don’t have the card but all the other info including cvv from physical presentation - they can continue on a replacement also without ever seeing it. Thank goodness the bank can stop it all. Be weary of this place...

Our first stop getting down on the island was this place as we wanted to contribute to the local stores. We wanted to get the basics but the prices at this place put me off! I know it's Hawaii, but $15.99 for a 24 pack Blue Hawaii was unheard of! Since we were out of options, we paid and left. Checking the other reviews now, looks like we made a good choice...

Selection of FRESH poke at a convenient store type market. You’ll never find this anywhere else besides Hawaii. The fish here is simply fresher than any other fish you would get in a regular store on the mainland/Canada. Great place to stop by for a quick snack.
