I have been working at Kona Mountain Coffee for the last 8 years. I enjoy my work very very much! One of the main reason I still work at the Kona Mountain Coffee after eight years is because of the management & the owner of the operation & the EXCELLENT QUALITIES of 100% PURE Kona Coffee they grow, process, serve & sell. They have provided me with nothing but pure kindness, love & commitment to excellence when it comes to quality of work, the quality of 100% Pure Kona coffee & taking care of there staff & colleagues. Anytime I needed any assistance, help or in time of troubles they have provided me with security, safety, advices & answers with most respect, kindness & love. As a matter of fact, I would not still be working here if that was not the case! I am in a fortunate position where I can go work else where, anytime, but I have always decided to stay with this company, even after eight years, just because they are the best people I have ever worked for. I have worked in variety of places from NYC, Greenwich, CT, Osaka, Japan, Captain Cook & beyond but I must say, The family that runs and operate Kona Mountain Coffee is genuine, kind, royal & amazing people & I sure am grateful to have them in my daily life. Very thankful for the work & very happy with the pay that I receive for my work. I have varieties of reasons why I decided to write and post on Google review today, but I will stop here. I completely have faith & trust in our royal & new customers who experience Kona Mountain coffee's service, products, operation procedures, management, the taste & the quality of 100% pure Kona coffee, the service of the staff & the daily operation. Edit after company response: it wasn't the quality of the actual coffee in the drinks. It was how the execution of the drinks that were made. Slightly coffee flavored blended ice. It's possible it was an off day.
My review on expensive cheaply made treats is in regards to the chocolate treats, not to the coffee. The small bag of rocky road type treat was over $10. Which is fine and what I'd expect to pay in a tourist shop and accounting for higher prices on the islands. When I say cheaply I am referring to the imitation vanilla and blue food dye used in that particular product. I usually read ingredient lists like it's my job, but that particular day I had a baby crying and decided to say "yes" to my older child on picking out an item and didn't read the ingredients. Had I, I would have had a upset child and $11 in my pocket.
We have visited Kona Mountain Coffee on previous visits to Kona. But our most recent visit this month will be our last.

Read moreI love kona mountain coffee and order from them all the time, but this morning was extremely frustrating. It is not the first time this has happened when i do the online pick up order. I ordered my coffee at 7:53 and got there around 8:06, i did not walk out with my coffee until 8:24 i like to give a lot of time rather than order and show up( my order was a cold brew and white chocolate mocha) But i waited 30 minutes to get my coffee which nearly made me late for work. When i asked about where my order was it was just sitting there behind the counter with melted ice and the oat milk was sitting at the bottom. The baristas seemed irritated i even asked for my order. I watched them take and make more than 10 orders while mine just sat there for nearly 30 minutes. I was going to originally ask to cancel my order and give me a refund because they looked busy but the fact it was just sitting there while they made everyone else’s drink was frustrating.
