Our day with Gary was the absolute highlight of our trip. He was in contact with me as soon as I booked three months out, and he asked questions about our group and our interests. He tailored a day that was perfect for our group of five. We got to see very special things that 99% of people visiting will never be aware of, and he narrated the entire time with facts and stories. We had a great time incorporating Gary into our family for the day, it was like we met up with a friend who lived here and was kind enough to take us around to share all the neat things. Some of the highlights included Waipio Valley, Akaka Falls, and Rainbow Falls, each more stunning than the last. But where Gary really shined was in Volcanoes National Park. You could tell he was in his element, taking us to some hidden spots that most visitors miss and helping us avoid the crowds. It made the experience feel personal and special.
