This trail in the Red River Gorge area offers some of the best views to be seen there. It is less than a mile long and is fairly easy except for quite a few uphill steps coming. back. Sky Bridge is a huge, beautiful Arch. The trail goes right across it. It is high and mostly wide with a narrower part as you cross. If you are a bit shaky, it may be better to just enjoy the view from below as the loop affords you the option of not crossing the Bridge. It is a popular spot so you can't spend a lot of time on top anyway. Magnificent views and up close looks at awesome rock formations. As always, stay on the trail and be aware of your surroundings. It is unforgiving if you go astray too far. We enjoyed this...

As noted in other reviews this is a must see attraction in RRG. The trail out to the bridge is a loop trail with elevation change and stairs. I recommend the counter clockwise route which goes below the arch first. This takes you down a flight of several stairs (instead of climbing up at the end of your hike). The path to the top of the arch is then a more gradual incline than a straight up climb. The path is well kept and easy to navigate. Many great views of the "bridge" and the gorge. Also as noted there are toilets in the parking area. Overall about a...

Nice views, short walks. Suggest parking and walking from the picnic area right before the parking lot at the end of the road. There's a trail to the Sky Bridge, restrooms and great picnic area. We saw the Forest Service Rangers all meet up and eat their lunches at the tables behind the restrooms. Must be the best picnic area...

We followed advice in one of the other reviews and went counterclockwise (started below sky bridge arch). Thank You!!! While there were still some stairs, it makes a significant difference. Trail is pretty well maintained and marked. Gorgeous views.
