Great (short) hike to yet another beautiful Arkansas waterfall. The pool at the bottom had maybe 6â of water, so not enough for swimming, but plenty for treading and cooling off in the summer heat. We were the only ones there for a while, which allowed for a peaceful sit. We saw plenty of insect life, a few small water creatures, and loads of dirt/rock trails that weâll be back to visit.
The trails can be quite steep in places, but theyâre easy to follow. There are no public facilities, so come prepared. And do bring plenty of water if youâre visiting in the summer; the heat & humidity was sweltering (as it is...
   Read moreA nice plaque is posted explaining the history of the area. A large platform has been built overlooking the Bridal Falls. The walk to the bottom is pretty steep but manageable. There are trails at the top of the ridge that will lead you to the Cornelius Falls and again the decent is steep once you arrive at the top. When at the bottom of Bridal Falls, it is easier to follow the creek bed down to the intersecting creek and turn left to Cornelius Falls.
