Rest Stop Area — Local services in Hedley

This rest stop has a playground and is well maintained. It is wheelchair accessible and has a good amount of parking spots and a separate area for truck and truckers. There is a building with restrooms inside and 2 large bathrooms for men and women. I used the outdoor restrooms since the indoor ones were closed for cleaning. What a refreshing rest area! Great place full of beauty, nice places to sit and eat, a great pet area, and extremely clean indoor restrooms. We stopped here coming and going on this year's family vacation. We made a point to spend time indoors reading all of the great history that is posted. The do have snack machines and drink machines with a large variety. This is very kid friendly and we'll lit. Safe at night, and again clean, very clean. Plenty of clean restrooms, very large parking lot for RVs or truckers with space to walk the dogs and a playground for the kids. This is a great rest area for a quick break or overnight rest. There are lots of grassy areas for the pups, but some of the famous Texas burs are out there. 4 vending machines are inside, 2 for drinks and 2 for snacks. Some displays are inside with information about the area. There is a nice covered picnic area with trees and a few Texas shaped grills. Beautiful! ...
