Rest Stop Area — Local services in Memphis

To stop here is to rejuvenate oneself in a manner unlike other rest stops. It feels minor, but the little differences go a long way. The north and south halves are practically identical, so this review may only appear for the southbound half.

It's SO clean. The restroom facilities are immaculate and the water pressure is perfect. The interior of the buildings are interesting to look at and have neat things inside. Can't comment on staff, as I tend to pass through here during the deep nighttime. The grounds keeping is great. The clerestory roofing style is aesthetic and let's lots of natural light in during the day.

They didn't need to go through all the effort here. But they did, and it made my long journey across Texas and beyond measurably...

This is one of the cleanest, well kept, safe, rest stops in my travels. A man/attendant I believe is name was Michael, this was weekday around 3:30pm was such a big help as I had just had my oil changed a ways back & noticed what he told me is a skid plate, protects engine, was hanging down & 1 screw holding in place, he was so kind to draw a map & refer me to a close by shop that would help me. Poodles, schnauzers, yorkies, and doodles beware.....Its a huge rest stop with room for pets however, what they consider to be ground cover is actually tiny burrs. I have a schnauzer who ended up covered in these tiny sticky balls. I saw two small yorkies also trying to enjoy the rest area only to be covered in these tiny balls that stick to their coats and become a tangled mess. Oh and you also have to watch for...
