We are a family of 7. 2 adults 5 kids. This place saves us way more money on food than any grocery store! If you know your current prices of food or Medicines, its super easy to save here. I get jumbo eggs for 89cent a dozen always. Lunch meat is usually always a better deal here than anywhere else. Same with all beef hotdog bundles. Plus kids lunch items like crackers and granola bars are at least 50cents to 1$ cheaper and name brand. Usually the best deal on apples especially if you bag your own. Same with potatoes. Bread is always 99cents a loaf many different brands. Except pepperidge farms that is about 1.19-1.39 a loaf. Multivitamins for kids and adults anywhere from 2$-5$ cheaper than other stores. Same with cough and cold/flu medicines. The Mott's tots and juicey juice 60 oz bottles are 1.75. 2$ for a 8 pack of juice boxes hi-c, Adam and Eve varieties. Other produce is really great deals seasonally. They have their own raw milk and deli products. Yogurt is definitely cheaper here as well as soups, canned foods. Spices. If you have time to really look...they have a lot of organic products for far cheaper than other stores. Overall best store ever! Hair and soap products are cheaper too but not as good as a sale and a coupon at giant or Weis. Office supplies are basically same price all year long, though they will discount things to make room for next shipment! I love this store, my grandma use to take me Here when I was a little girl, now I shop here with my husband and kids! All the workers are super nice. The women stockers sing sometimes and it sounds...
Read moreBb's Grocery Outlet in Schaeferstown PA is a discounted supermarket. The store offers home goods, health and beauty, dairy, frozen products, fresh produce and so much more. One aspect of Bb's I love is that you are getting name brand items like Weight Watchers and Gatorade for half the price. For example, the last time I went to Bb's I bought two boxes of Weight Watchers protein bars for two for a dollar, that's a steal. In addition, the store has a walk in fridge and freezer that offers a variety of products. They offer not only sliced cheese and deli meat but the whole block/roll for a decent price. Furthermore, Bb's has a wide selection of vitamins that include gummies and pills. They offer vitamins for every age group at half the price than the average supermarket.
One insider tip I would recommend to anyone going to Bb's is to make sure you look at the expiration date, because sometimes the items could be expired, but other than that Bb's is an amazing store. In addition, I would recommend spending at least one hour at the store so that you are able to look through all of the products that Bb's offer because it's a lot.
Also, when checking out you can either bag your groceries in plastic or they offer boxes for you to use. All of the workers are very sweet and polite and they also keep the store very clean.
To sum it all up, if you are looking or want to try something new you should definitely go to Bb's Grocery Outlet, because you will not be disappointed with all of the good items you receive. I will definitely be coming back to Bb's when I am in...
Read moreThis is the first time we've gone to a Bb's that wasn't the one in Newburg and there was much to be desired. I almost drove past the store because I was a looking for a bigger building. It was pretty small inside and didn't have a lot of what I was used to finding. The best part about it was how organized it was, there were employees throughout the store shelving items, no banana boxes to look through. However, the lighting was so bad you couldn't see anything, I was squinting the whole trip. Most of the items were priced the way you would expect but some were unreasonably priced and could be bought else where for half the price. I only go to Bb's once a month so I get a cart full. There was one person checking out and no bagger. So I had to unload the cart bag, leave it at the end because there wasn't an extra cart to put groceries into. Then unload more of my cart to try and get it empty so I could put the full bags into it and keep the process going. I had to go get an extra cart because the girl certainly wasn't going to offer or just go get one, fine deal with my melting down tantruming 2 year old. Then when the whole process was finally done she just smiled at me as I struggled to get 2 full carts out there push open doors through the parking lot of cars. I'll drive the hour it takes to get to a different one, instead of a half hour...
