Can't rate their quality of produce, but I called early this morning since I assumed they'd need some time for preparation. I was interested in half a steer and some other produce which I wanted to make sure was in stock. A simple yes its in stock or no would have sufficed.
On the phone I was met with a very rude response by a gentleman who hung up on me before I was even able to finish my next sentence. Completely unprofessional.
Shortly after I gave a call to another farm in the area that was much more friendly and accomodating, will be picking up the steer from them later today and some poultry/eggs.
No matter the quality, if a business does not respect me as a customer especially when I'm making a relatively large order then they will not receive my business or recommendation in the future, ever. Even if it was a bit early in the day, a simple "we are not open for business right now please contact us between so and so o'clock" would have sufficed. I'm sorry for inconveniencing you with my inquiry but the way you treat customers speaks volumes about how you run a business. This is the last youll hear from me or from anyone I know, don't worry about me waking you up too early...
