My fiancé and I went to try tasty land for the first time tonight have heard good things about it and wanted to see for ourselves. We ordered food and ice cream, we got the ice cream pretty quickly, which was nice. My fiancé had to wait for the food and after they put his order out, someone took our food. After realizing they had the wrong order they brought it back to the window. The employees then took the returned bag and placed it back out the window telling my fiancé that was his order. My fiancé, then watched the employees put the bag that was returned from the wrong order back out for my fiancé to take. He had then watch the whole thing go down and said he did not want food that someone else had touched and brought back. They rolled their eyes and said they will make it again. however after 45 minutes of waiting, I wish I was exaggerating. They still have yet to bring our food out. Tastyland is a go-to for burger cravings when I’m not wanting to make them myself. I love that they’re using local meat and tallow. I know this may not matter to some, but for those who care it’s great information.
It’s an awesome old school drive up and they’ve done such a great job with the lighting and seating behind the building, including coveted patios, so you’re always able to eat outside of your car if you choose.
Be sure to check social media because their monthly burgers are always fun and often include a collab with another local spot!
One day I’ll get around to trying the ice cream, but I honestly can’t speak for that yet as crazy as it may sound.

The food is meh; fries are pretty good though. The icecream is also fairly good. However the poor communication behind the counter does make for a poor and frustrating experience. We were handed our drinks after ordering and while this was appreciated, we didn’t appreciate not being able to refill after waiting 10-20 minutes for your food. It’s either consume your beverage or have it melt by the time the food is ready and get a watered down soda. You could say “Well go back in line and purchase another soda” but that would entail having to wait in that line again AND wait for them to give me a new drink while my food gets cold. There is no happy medium out of this transaction. The worker reluctantly gave us some tap water so we didn’t have to wait. 🤦🏻♂️
Raise the price of your drinks if you’re too stingy to give refills or don’t give the drinks until the food is ready.
