This is a small but sweet Hometown business. Friendly people who will say hello and ya need help! You can also drop your packages off for the UPS at the back of the store. Prices might be a little bit high but not bad. They do carry quite a good variety for being so small. It feels like you stepped back into a better era when you walk inside this business. Read Bros is an immense hardware store. They handle a lot of the one off hard to find hardware parts. You'll find yard and garden needs from seed to chainsaws. Fully supplied paint section. Tools both power and hand. Very good automotive section. As is their electrical and plumbing isles. Big selection of v belts. UPS drop off and pick up. Very good welding supply section. This store is well worth stopping by just to browse. You're bound to find something you've needed and haven't been able to find anywhere...

Lovely old building (though the exterior front has been "modernized" over the years with awnings, etc.). The real charm is the interior, mainly the left wall, which has been kept in its original(?) state, with old varnished woodwork, wooden drawers, cabinets, work surfaces, and hardware. The surface of the first floor is mainly wood in beautiful shape. There is a second floor but it isn't open...
