Pineridge Market — Local services in Highland Charter Township

Every time I’m near Highland Twp. (from OH), I must stop here. Mark stocks well. From craft beer, to well priced wine, to Michigan distilled spirits… it truly seems like he has it all. On my first visit I stopped in for some gin — he directed me to THREE distilleries that are located in Michigan. I bought a bottle from each. As a surprise bonus, I left with a modestly retail priced bottle of my favourite Fritz Müller Perlwein — a must try for the old world sparkling wine fan. Each consequent stop has been just as lovely, and it seems I leave with more and more merchandise each time… Thank you, Mark, for sharing your wonderful shop with us. I always look forward to my next visit.

This has been my favorite liqour store for the past decade. They always have the best selection and the owner is always so helpful when present. However, today an employee treated me terribly. I asked if they had a bourbon in stock and he said no. When I came to check out he told me I looked so disappointed that it was out of stock. I said yes and that I should've checked my other store that normally has it. He then started badgering me on how he can't believe a store out there doesn't sell out of things and how he can't believe places like that exist. I felt humiliated because he kept going on through the entire checkout out process. I was not rude or condescending to the clerk once but he...

The cashier who is here most of the time is just odd. First I asked where something was and he just points to a section of the store and I could barely find it. Then i ask him to be honest about how old the papers were i was trying to get and he told me he doesn’t know. but then waited until after I paid to tell me they have been sitting on the shelf for a year and next time I should go somewhere else. Just straight out weird. He also throws people’s ids back at them and once even flicked it back into his own...
