I purchased a dishwater on Saturday and had it installed today. The so called installer said that it was working and ran a full cycle. I got a call from my tenant saying that the dishwasher does not work. It boots up and then does nothing after. I called the installer and he said that he dosen't have anything to do with it now I have to call the store. On google it clearly shows that the store closes at 8pm. I called them right after talking to the installer at 7pm exact...."call log to prove it" they did not pick up...in fact they sent me right to vm. Then at 7:01 I got a text message saying we are closed now. Funny, you are closed fr phone calls but not to text. I replied back saying that their dishwasher does not work and i just want a refund. A good and reliable company upon receiving a message like that would call back immediately to speak to there customer....they did not- nor did they acknowledge the text. NO I don't not want a tech to look at it- NO I do not want a replacement...I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! so I can go find me another appliance store that is more reliable and customer service oriented.
Update as off 5/22/2018 Firstly, If you know your store is closing early, you should update that to reflect so that your customers know. Secondly, there is no such thing as a brand new "scratch and dent". We already know that buying a second hand appliance it not expected to last years....but less than 24hours is just ridiculous. Thirdly, if your business hours states opening at 10am and no one answers the phone for 30 whole mins.....really. As a customer, I had to proceeded to call a different location to get information and an excuse from them saying "sometimes they get there late" is just......WoW...ok. You guys are responding to bad reviews faster than a response to a customer that has a problem with your appliances. Lastly, I would be happy to give you a call but unfortunately, your facility never picks up "caller id...
Read moreI purchased a dryer from Better Appliances. There were issues within the warranty period. A store technician addressed the issues then several months later there was another issue. This time the dryer was out of warranty with the store so I had to hire a technician to fix the issue. The amount to fix the issue was almost more than I paid for the dryer but cheaper than buying a new one. Now, yet again, I am having another issue with the dryer less than a year from the last issue. At this point it makes more sense just to buy a new dryer which defeats the whole purpose of purchasing from this store in the first place. Waste of money.
Response to owner: I purchased the dryer on 722/22. There was an issue on 7/29/22, just one week after purchasing the product. Better Appliance's technician did assist as it was within the 60 day warranty period. The next issue with the dryer occurred on 10/24/22 which was outside of the warranty. No assistance was received from Better Appliance. I found a place myself called Appliance Care. If they are affiliated with you I was unaware of this. I paid full price for the repair service of a product that was not fit for sale. The cost of this repair was a little more than the dryer itself. If they are affiliated with you, I should have been offered to exchange the product because it should not have had that many issues within a 90-day period. On 8/24/23, there was another issue. So I just purchased a brand new dryer from a trusted retailer with a quality warranty. ...
Read moreI was in the market to outfit one of our rental units and wanted to save some $$$. I found these jokers on Craigslist, then I went directly to their website to start shopping. I found everything I needed on their website. Stack washer/dryer, refrigerator, electric stove and dishwasher. I called them and the ‘voicemail’ was full, but I did get a text message from them that said they’d call me back (never heard from them). But I wanted to get these items and check this off my list. We drove (the 45 miles) over there. I walked around the ‘showroom’ looking for the items I saw on the website, two guys were on the other side doing inventory or something. Finally, one of them asked me if I needed some help. I told him I was looking for theses 4 items, but I don’t see anything close to it. He informed me that the website hasn’t been updated in MONTHS… NONE of the items I wanted were in stock. I stood there in disbelief… I just drove an hour, ready to spend over a thousand dollars and you have NOTHING I want. Before I could speak, my wife grabbed me and started pushing me toward the exit, before I could lose my mind… I guess it goes without saying what I think of this establishment and how they do business. The items that were in the warehouse, was junk. Go buy some new appliances like I just did, I’ve learned my lesson.
We were in the store on June 11, 2020... Must be another unhappy customer you are...
