I recently had the pleasure of attending our two-day annual meeting at Stony Brook Business Center, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the ambience took us by surprise—it felt like stepping onto the set of a Hallmark movie. I have facilitated in a lot of venues and it's tough to find just the right match. Stony Point provided that for the team I was working with. Although we had a smaller group of about 10, the space would certainly work for close to 20, give or take.

Every detail was thought of - from the tech and visual options, to white boards, and easels. Refreshments and lunch was handled as well which took an element of planning of our plates.

The flow of the room was perfect for having group discussions with mixed space to use for breakouts and pair discussions - inside and outside. We even used the outdoor patio (with a beautiful pool view and greenery) for a team building exercise.

The hosts were open and fast to communicate from the start, answering all of our questions and offering tips and things to consider for the day of the event.

The location feels remote but a short drive from neighboring towns and cities. I stayed over in Frederick, Maryland and made it in about 25 minutes. Most of the group lives in and around Winchester so it was a perfect meeting point to get the value of being offsite together.
