MooThru Hillsboro — Restaurant in Hillsboro

My fiancé and I had been wanting to try this place since we saw it go up in the area. We finally drove down from about 45 minutes away the other day to check it out. We are all for supporting local businesses and we also understand higher quality ingredients = higher prices but, weren’t prepared for these prices. MooThru’s prices are not posted anywhere online, at least not that I’ve found. The economy is worse right now than it was during the Great Depression, my family certainly can’t afford to pay $5 for ONE single scoop of ice cream! I’m mainly just posting this as a warning to any families that are interested in trying MooThru but may not realize that this place has real ice cream straight from the farm and therefore, is not as affordable as you’d expect for your typical ice cream truck. I realize that everyone has to make a living but, I believe prices should be posted and easily found across all social media platforms so families can budget/know what to expect when they come to your truck. Cute little ice cream truck situated in a quaint little town circle. They have a variety of ice cream. If you can't pick a flavor, you can choose a flight of 4. We tried coffee, mint chocolate, blackberry, and cookie butter. The cookie butter was the best and simply delicious. Real ice cream, real good! We loved their flavors, their ice cream is creamy, and tastes great. They make their own ice cream and source locally where possible.
