Let me start off by saying I NEVER write reviews about anything because I have learned that when someone says the food was great or the rooms were nice are not my expectations of what good and nice mean! I have learned that in life you most definitely get what you pay for wether it be food, cars, home or in this case furniture. All of the above is for this. I went to Palm Casual for quality, durability, design, warranty and yes reviews. There was not one bad review on this store in Bluffton SC, management or employees. I have been in sales the majority of my adult life and I know what it means to service your clients (customer service) and when you say something you better deliver. I had a small issue with my furniture and made a phone call to the manager Kyle. Again I have dealt with customers most of my life and thought I was at the top of my game until I met Kyle. This young man absolutely was the best store manager, friendliest, most honest and enthusiastic person that really cared about your concerns and made 100% that my situation was handled in a professional and timely manner. The furniture warranty is the best I have ever seen. They stand behind their products and accommodate your needs. I need a patio umbrella and the store has some here and there outside on display and that pulled me in. I saw the color I needed as I drove by today. In fact, two of them, I felt lucky. I entered the store and a salesman asked if I needed help. I explained I wanted to look at patio umbrellas. I guess I expected them to have a section with umbrellas for sale. I told him the size and color I needed and he looked in his binder....I knew them it wasn’t going to be easy to buy my umbrella. He said it could take up to 10 weeks to have it made. I told him there are two outside like I want and I asked him if I could buy one of them. He didn’t know so I asked a woman behind the counter. She said no. So is that customer service? I don’t think so. Everything you want to buy here has to be ordered and made. I prefer to be able to decide on something like a patio umbrella and take it home with me, not wait 10 weeks. Why couldn’t I buy the one they had at the store? I plan on enjoying my patio for the next 10 weeks instead of waiting for an umbrella. I’ll get one online and it will be here by next week. Upon entering this store for the first time, we were very impressed with so many terrific items to view. The store was a lot bigger than we thought. With so many pieces of furniture to choose from, your eye and personal taste is always drawn to what appeals to you most. It did not take us long to find the right set. You do have plenty of time to look around and no one pressures you or stands over your shoulder. We enjoyed sitting in differently arranged sections. And then after we decided on the furniture we wanted, we sought out one of the sales reps. We met with Megan Willett. She was terrific! No pressure. Very relaxed. Super knowledgeable. Answered all of of your questions. Totally confident that we were making a wise choice with our purchase. Easy terms, especially with returns. Our delivery arrived a few days ago, and the gentlemen on the truck (Trey and Steve) were very courteous and helpful. They set things up just the way we wanted.
