Rockingham Dragway — Local services in Hoffman

Recently attended the Street Outlaws No Prep on 10-15-22. Our first time at this track or one of the events there. I had read numerous reviews, so I knew what to expect. We paid $380 for 2 VIP All Access to the event. Our parking was a little further than it was suppose to be, apparently there was a mix up allowing people to pitch tents the night before in our parking area. Our seats were good except for the fact we were facing the sun….so we went across the track to the general seating area. I had read no drinks or outside food allowed. And saw numerous people with coolers and beverages they were allowed to take in. Yes the bathrooms are outdated and ran out of soap and paper towels half way Thru the day. Personally instead of re paving the track, I’d put all new bathrooms in. We were under the assumption racing started at 2 which it did, but in between races there was no name local fellas racing. That’s not what I paid to see. I paid to see Street Outlaws 100% Lastly if Rockingham is going to have one of these events with a HUGE crowd there needs to be more food trucks. I don’t know the attendance numbers but I’d suggest 3 of each, on each side of the track. For example, 3 Dominos, 3 chicken and wings and etc…I am not waiting in line for 30-45 minutes for a pizza. And I didn’t see any beverage trucks except for the shaved ice, which one truck ran out of ice…..so next year I’ll probably attend again, but I’ll bring my own chairs and sit on the bank in the shade, I’ll bring a cooler with drinks into the event and I’ll have a cooler with food in my vehicle, and bring my own soap and paper towels to the bathroom. This is NO fault of Street Outlaws. It lies solely on the host, Rockingham Drag Strip. I did get numerous autographs, pix and saw some...

Loved going here for the rockyham festival it was amazing experience and I will for sure be back. It was alot of walking to get to where the bands play from the camping area I will either make sure I am on the north camp ground and I will make sure to bring alot of bottles of water u can only take water in that's unopened and u can only take in one per person....u also have to have a see through bag I had to pay 20 for one there so if u plain on going make sure u have a clear bag or a net bag and no chairs allowed only blankets and blow up two men couches ....but Rob zombie was amazing the best thing ever I was on the fourth row the closest I have ever been to a amazing band ...and I got super close for food fighters as well got on the tenth row for them and out of 80,000 people that is great ..the band live only got to play three songs because they was 40 minutes late due to the storm the day before almost all the bands from Saturday got cancelled due to the weather it messed up alot in side and they had to fix it before we could go back in ...alot of people left early due to the fact tool didn't get to play and Judas priest didn't get to play either alot of people was very upset about them two not being able to play but what they don't understand is they have other gigs they have to be at so they have to stay on schedule....their fans should understand that they had no control over the weather and the event closing for the rest of the night after the show ...but if u have not been go it's a great experience but it's alot of walking and alot of standing my legs and back was killing me by the third night and my back still hurts a...

I was there for the street outlaws on Saturday on Saturday night vendors run out of water soda's seating was the worst I've ever experienced no one there was organized enough to get people through the gates People had to stand down past the quarter mile line at defense because there was not enough seating for that event there was no work close to being prepared for the amount of people that showed up and one and end the seats the people I talked with who follows the street outlaws to many tracks said this was the worst event they went to and that's not because of the racing it was because of the drag strip Concrete seats was all cracked and pieces the concrete was falling down the stagion area Was an adequate adequate it was a shame that these drivers had to put up with with a track of that less of quality the street outlaw group did a fantastic job but but the rest was horrible it was horrible most of the people I spoke with said they would not return to that dry strip to eat brag strip to even watch them race there again Very disappointing...
