Rockingham Speedway — Local services in Hoffman

NASCAR. Take a serious look at what you have at Rockingham Speedway. The seats are packed. Only Daytona and Pheonix as your other “only races “this year that have packed the stands I,as an avid race fan since the mid-sixties of all sorts dirt late models,drag racing ,any racing have been saddened to see how little this seems to matter. Truth told, if it weren’t for the TV packages most of us race enthusiasts feel NASCAR would fold. The ticket sales aren’t keeping you afloat. I wanted to be at Rockingham this weekend but failed to secure tickets for the race. Thus far scheduling for myself and family will only leave us able to make Martinsville this year. We typically come in a group. Put tracks like Rockingham and Darlington two dates Wilkesboro two dates back in the schedule. Let’s face it you can’t go wrong, the core of NASCAR is in the south. Kinda get back to what got you there. I along with so many other fans love stock car racing and NASCAR racing has always been the best. Let these drivers get out of the car if they’re pissed and grab another one by the collar ,throw a punch, let them get frustrations out. It’s not going to ruin the sport. If anything it’ll sell tickets for a later date. Leave politics out of racing. You ve allowed a certain party in the last few years to throw in woke agendas. It’s a large part of your lagging ticket sales . As stated before NASCAR has always been the best, it’s where every racer dreams to be. I as well as so many others would love to see the seats packed again, even if it means I have to wait,or order tickets sooner to make the races. I need to add the three stars are for NASCAR. The place as in location and speedway only was okay! BUT never go to a Monster Truckz show!! It advertises any and everything except the truth. It is not Rain or Shine! Be prepared. If it rains they will let you spend an arm and a leg for tickets to use at the “pit party” or “kid fun zone” where nothing is free. One ticket cost $7 and most of the rides/things to do cost 1-3 tickets EACH so your spending $14 to do one thing. Don’t even Ride the monster truck for 3 tickets. That’s $21 and the ride on back of the truck is less than 2 minutes and it’s taking you around in circles. Go home and ride your lawn mower it’s the same equivalent and free!! Might even go faster. Anyways. Once you finally get to the show after sending minimum $25 dollars (I spent $45) Be prepared, if it’s raining they will let you sit there and continue to spend money on people walking around selling cart toys ($25 each) and cotton candy like at a parade and FIVE minutes before the show starts after sitting over 1 hour in the rain they will tell you it’s canceled. We went for the Epicfestival and the parking and lighting were terrible. We spent so much time trying to find our truck in the dark. Our battery was dead and we tried to get help from staff and that was futile (some cool folks helped us) and then we tried to get them ( the staff on golf carts) to help an elderly lady find her car and that was impossible. Some more cool folks helped her. The traffic was backed up for hours and it was horrible. After staying in the same spot for hours we parked and went to sleep for a couple of hours and there was still traffic. We made it back to our camp site at 3:30 in the morning. The show was amazing!! Rob Zombie rocked but the venue was closed down on the second day and we missed all the headlining bands. I know this is long but....water should be FREE at these festivals.
