Lawrence Barn Community Center — Local services in Hollis

I absolutely love this location! I have had the priviledge of dressing (aka decorating) this venue and each time, we had such an amazing time with friends and family, you know your party is a homerun when guest don't want to leave 🤣🤣 this is a complement all by itself! What I personally love about the Lawrence Barn is its location, history, and all of its rustic charm, its truly a gem! Great ending for the 2022 Luminaria Stroll! Easy to park and walk up to Monument Square for singing and the Christmas tree lighting.

Then follow the tractor parade to the barn for a visit with Santa and a cookie sale. Sidewalks the entire way from the square. The parking lot at the barn is flat but unpaved with a relatively smooth surface.

There are some accessible spaces available.

What a nice way to finish a Saturday afternoon...

Community center in a refurbished (newly built?) Barn. Everything from lectures, nature hikes, Town-wide yard sale to visiting with Santa after parade around the tiny, beautiful town green. Apple Orchard and farms nearby. Has own parking lot, womens and men's restrooms. Wheelchair accessible entrace to building. True old fashioned town meeting hall. Really adds old charm and modern conveniences to a charming small community...
