The Hollis Library is a gem! The staff is wonderful, it is a peaceful place to browse, and the collection is surprisingly good. Beautiful library! We explored the children's room. They had a craft bag that we took home and of course plenty of books. I appreciated how they made it easy to find the different types of children's books: easy readers, board books, biographies, etc. Highly recommend! Beautiful, historic library in the center of town. Right across from Hollis’ original church and adjacent cemetery. Plenty of parking with a newly updated playground, shade from old trees as well as a recently added (2021) memorial garden area at the back of the lot — has benches and a nice covered area to sit!
